Watching "The Maid"

Yday after dinner with Dear @ Carls Jr (Marina Square), we decide to
take a walk around MS. Then we decide to watch "The Maid" after a
stupid suggestion from me...I say "stupid: is bcuz after I started to
sit in and watch the show, I regret it...Y I am making myself scared
and jittery for a whole 1-2 hours and getting paid to be scared?!? I
really dun understand lor...Most of the time I get so scared of being
scared that I close my eyes or cover myself from Dear's hands...I feel
like i am wasting $$$... I rather watch the " March of the Penguins"
which could be more enjoyable than the scary movie!

Today after a conversation with a colleague over Pre-marriage
counselling course
(marriage preparation) that I would like SO MUCH to
go and attend with my future husband-to-be, but was feeling quite down
cuz he din want to go despite many times of asking. In the end, I show
him the conversation that I had with my colleague, trying to show him
how much I treasure our marriage-to-be, and hope that through this
enriching Pre-marriage counselling course, we will be able to build up
our faith in our marriage and able to solve obstacles that we might
face along the way. Marriage is really not easy as what people might
think "just like that lor. Got problems then solve lor" We must both
learn to build up a strong faith for each other and our marriage in
order to make things work, whether in times of bad or good. Gladly to
say that, he finally relent!!!
Thou grudingly at first, then complaining say he don't like those kind
of "sharing sessions", finally giving in...I am so happy!! Relieved as
well, cuz we finally can for the course together! I really hope after
going thru the course, he will feel enriched and not feel that its a
waste of $, cuz I personally heard positive feedback from married
people who had went thru similar course or who are currently going thru
it.

Dear, I truly love and cherish you, and hope our marriage will work. So
hope we can take this path together, starting from the preparation
stages...

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory!

Today me & Dear went to watch this superb movie - Charlie & The
Chocolate Factory. It was my Sec Sch's literature book and I really
love it! This movie is just like a fantasy dream that came to
life...The extraordinary chocolate factory filled with all different
kinds of candies and chocolates - the chocolate waterfall, the 3-meals
chewing gum, the TV chocolate...I wish there are even more fantasy
stories that can come to life (in movies lah!)

Before the movie, we went Orchard shopping for our frens' gifts at LMG.
I love the *** that I bought for them and keep resisting to get for
myself lor. hmm...
I also chanced upon a nice dress that could suffice as my ROM dress,
unfortunately the bust area too loose leh and no more smaller size
left...Sigh...Wat a pity, cuz its affordable lor.

Tody when we went Kinokuniya to shop for books and found this book -
"Bring back the Man You fell in love with" and bought it. Dun get
mistaken, we are not facing any massive problems in our relationship,
but I feel that topics are quite interesting and meaningful as it
offers answers to woman who want to know how to keep their long term
relationship healthy and exciting. It wun hurt to know more so as to
prevent before it really happens rite?
Unfortunately, the discount card which I borrowed from my fren, caused
us to hav some slight unhappy episodes. It happened like that: I use my
POSB Debit card (which bears my name) to pay for the book, when I use
the discount card (which is of my fren's name), and the staff said that
the card is non-transferable unless the person is present also!!!
He actually say then dun buy lah, then I tot he was really meaning tt I
dun buy since he kept saying I m wasting $$ lor. Actually he was
intendin to bring the book to another counter to pay, and without
showing my debit card. Well, the cashier keep the book, and I was
embarrased and unhappy at that time liao lor. After that he still sort
of lament me that I duno how to be "bad person" one lor. I felt stoopid
being said like tt!
Y is he unhappy for a few dollars lor?Its not as if he's paying also
wat. There's nothing I can do also mah. By showing me black face will
worsen the situation lor! In the end, we had a slight unhappiness but
it was all wrapped up soon after.

Sigh...All bcuz of a discount card...U c how $$ is evil? It can cause quarrels between humans!

Kuala Lumpur Trip 2005

This is quite a fun trip, thou tiring after walking big shopping centres and endless streets, with a group of good friends, in total of 3+2 (me & my fiance)

The weather was humid, and the traffic was real bad and the streets are dusty..but we got real good bargains from the Malaysia Mega Sale that was ongoing! A pity to say, their retail sales assistants have really bad attitude, quite ya-ya papaya type lor. Its quite a few examples that me & my fren has gotten lor. Their taxi-drivers are also real crazy one! Can speed and drive like mad. One funny example is, our taxi got type-punctured along the Highway after he had picked us up not long ago. Suay for him. The taxi drivers quite friendly, will help one another out. So we hopped onto another cab, the 4 of us squeezing like mad at the back seat! Quite an adventure thou!

Certain places like the food street is quite nice (eg satay, oyster egg), but the seafood restuarant we went to in Chinatown is kinda bad - looks bad n taste fairly only. Feel like we got "dok" by them lor. not worth it.
We also went to the Sunway Lagoon thou we din take any pics from there.Looks alomost the same like the one in Jurong Swimming Complex, and the water dun look clean lor.haha!WE only play 1-2 hours cuz went in late and close early at 6pm.

The last day we went to KL Twin Tower early in the morning at 8am to queue up. Quite a magestic view from the top when we were at level 41. Cannot go any further up liao.

Enjoy the pictures!
