Started the day freshly-bathe and a good mood, which got damaged by a stupid cab driver!
Me decided to take a cab to the hotel because there's no straight bus from my area, and also I want to minimize walking and perspiring. Little do I know that there's a roadblock in Marina area due to NDP rehearsal, and that stoopid cab driver missed a turn towards Temasek Ave, and drove straight to S'pore Flyer where the road block starts!!! In the end he has to drop me there and I have to walk almost 200m from the S'pore Flyer to the hotel!!!!!!!!! He is a stupid cab driver!! I shouldn't have trusted him thinking that he will know the road directions better than me!
Anyway, heard good reviews about this buffet so decided to try. A little disappointed cuz there are no fresh seafood spread, but anyway I can't eat them (for fear of bacteria contamination) while at pregnancy stage, so i din lugi after all..haha..I must definitely go and have a proper buffet, with fresh seafood, sashimi after I give birth!!
Ate more of the cooked food (Asian delights), skipped the Indian food delights, and gobbled up the nice desserts~ (thou can't stomach the delicious looking cakes in the end so din manage to try..)
At the sushi counter - As the tomago sushi touches the raw fish sushi, I politely requested for the sushi chef to make a fresh tomago sushi for me. He is so inflexible and rejected my request, saying he has to go by the book la, cannot lor. So stupid!
Despite there's no cake, no birthday song singing, no wishes making, its a nice lunch gathering with the sistas. Had a very filling buffet lunch and feelin' so stuffed after that.
Thanks sistas for the birthday angpow! Much to go into my baby furniture purchases...

Although the majority of the furniture has been duly assembled (thanks to the hard work efforts by Papa and Grandpa Yam), they have not been properly placed at their position yet. The Winnie wallpaper can only be pasted and the cot can only be assembled after I give birth. Well, at least I got a bit of the "feel" of Baby Yam's nursery room with all these at the moment... Shall look forward to the complete look of the nursery room after Baby Yam arrives in this world... *Excited*
This is Uncle Mus & Aunty Janet's gift for Baby Yam (thou' chosen by ourselves.) Thanks guys! We will let Baby Yam know once she started playing with this toy 
Oh, we can't resist buying this toy, so its only ME who can't resist, cuz this toy is so cuddly and it lets out a soothing lullaby song when pressed its tummy. The blue little kittie toy that Winnie the Pooh is holding, will also light up. We can put in his cot or put in the car as Baby Yam's companion toy. We got this toy at a further discount when we receive a $5 Robinsons voucher after buying the Kick-and-Whirl Carnival. Hee.. Thanks to Papa Yam's clever thinking and calculation by separating the 2 purchases.
Look at all the big and heavy boxes of furniture that Dear carried all by himself cuz the pregnant me can only help with that small rattan chair and the 2 white boxes..hee.. Of cuz he din do it all at one go la.. Its impossible.. He made a few trips up and down to carry them from his car to the house. Yes, we managed to pack all these in our 小红's backseat and boot! Another amazing feat by 小红! Now he can't find his hands liao (lost feeling in his hands liao..) Wahaha... 
Her whole cohort of great-granddaughters! Total 5 and mine not included yet..hee
Next year's birthday will have my Princess Yam to join in liao!
