I've finally passed my Final Theory Test!

Ah Ha! I am finally another step closer to achieving my driving licence liao..cuz I've just passed my Final Theory Test (finally!phew!) today!

Sigh, after 2 failed attempts in trial tests, 2 successful attempts in trial tests, 1 failed attempt in actual Final Theory Test, and 2 practice lessons, then I finally see the word "Passed" flashing across the screen in front of me...Relieved...

An update on my driving lessons: Have already passed a total of 25 subjects from my first lesson on 9th March, till 15 July. Now I will be finishing up the remaining 5 subjects and 3 compulsory revisions (+ many more revisions) in the next 4 months, till my driving test date on 14 Dec 07!

Keep praying for me to go for 1-time pass ok? haha...

Can't wait to get my hands on the steering wheel of...

Vroom..vroom....

I don't understand why???

I don't understand why is "she" detesting "him" so much? Such that "she" is unwilling to address "him", unwilling to have any interaction with "him"? Even if "she" does, it is pure unwillingness.. We can see it very clearly!!

I feel that heartpain when "she" diao "him" from a corner of "her" eyes. "She" is so young yet "she" can show the irritated-ness in "her" expressions, "her" attitude. I feel that heartpain for this wonderful man in my life, who has loved and doted so much of this little one...I wonder why does "she" not like him so much, so much that I wonder, is there any enemity between them in the past lives?Ha!

I hope to have our very own children, who will dote and love "him" back, as much as "he" will love them...

I am the Empress!

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

Newton's LAWS

Some Important Laws that Newton forgot to state

LAW OF QUEUE:

If you change queues, the one you have left will start to move faster than the one you are in now.

LAW OF TELEPHONE:

When you dial a wrong number, you never get an engaged one.

LAW OF MECHANICAL REPAIR:

After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch.

LAW OF THE WORKSHOP:

Any tool, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner.

LAW OF THE ALIBI:

If you tell the boss you were late for work because you had a flat tire, the next morning you will have a flat tire.

BATH THEOREM:

When the body is immersed in water, the telephone rings.

LAW OF ENCOUNTERS:

The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with.

LAW OF THE RESULT:

When you try to prove to someone that a machine won't work, it will!

LAW OF BIOMECHANICS:

The severity of the itch is inversely proportional to the reach.

THEATRE RULE:

People with the seats at the furthest from the aisle arrive last.

LAW OF COFFEE:

As soon as you sit down for a cup of hot coffee, your boss will ask you to do something which will last until the coffee is cold.

True, isn't it?

Gloomy...

Gloomy weather, gloomy mood

Whether would I be converted or not, fate shall determine...

Just a temporary worker, temporary solution for them. Will they care?

Hopes too high, fall be great

Am I valued? Am I not? Am I just a Tom, Dick or Harry?

Wake up from your beautiful dream and work hard to show your value!

Preparation for our Australia Honeymoon Trip - Sep 07

What we've done preparing for our Australia (Sydney & Melbourne) Honeymoon Trip:

  • Scout around for F&E packages from tour agencies, and gather information and prices from them before comparing whether to book with them or book ourselves.
=> Decided to book air flights with NTUC Income Travel & Recreational Club. Total of 10 days in Australia. Will be on Quantas flight. Still deciding whether to book hotels through them or from Asiarooms.com directly. Still comparing the rates.
  • Plan trip itinery by (i) asking friends for tips (ii) geting travel itineries brochures from travel agencies
=> Will be booking City day tours directly with Australian City Tour Agents for most of our trip there.
  • To prepare thick clothings for the colder weather there, especially when going to Philip Island.

=> Bought mine (red one) at a steal! $15 instead of usual price of $99. Suitable for 0 - 10 degree celcius. Dear's jacket is more expensive though have 20% discount liao. Originally he wanted to buy white color one which looks nicer on him, but hor, we scared easily dirty mah, so decided to buy yellow color instead. Not bad also lah...

Hope we can finalize our hotel bookings soon, and one big load off our mind liao! (Not forgetting to mention one huge sum deducted from our account also! haha...)

Eat - Eat - Eat....

The past few days have been non-stop eating...

Thursday: Ala-carte buffet dinner @ Honjin Japanese Restaurant. With DBS Card promotion, 1-for-1. original price per adult is $52+++. Expensive hor? We eat until our tummy bursting!

Friday: Cheese Fondue Pizza @ Pizza Hut... Also ate until we very very full.. Sigh...

Saturday: After Harry Porter movie @ Vivocity, our stomach were growling hard and loud...From far we saw Marche and got so happy! Eat and eat and eat...we wolfed down a place of Rosti and Sausage, pork knuckles, Seafood Parlade (duno how to spell?), & a chocolate mousse dessert... SINFUL meal and expensive one!!

Sunday: Met up with the badminton girls for my birthday celebration. Had Porridge Steamboat @ Lian Seah Street, and again eat until our tummy bursting...But the porridge gets very tasty after few rounds of meat n seafood..yummy...quite like it...

See! All the past few days have been gorging myself (ourselves) with food... How to not become fat in this manner!! We really need to make more efforts to slim down...Cant fit into some clothes liao..sob sob....

My overall feelings for my 25th...

This will be my very private blog entry, just to write down how I feel overall about my 25th birthday....

Overall, I am very happy for all the surprises and activities planned by Dear...Very very enjoyable birthday spent this year...

On the contrast, I feel quite disappointed on the friends' side...I tot 25 yrs old is quite a BIG thing for me, and so should be for others, so I took great efforts to make something for friends who are close to me, for e.g.:
- For Tanlin, I handmade a scrapbook Notice Board for her,and also wrote a card and mail to her
- For Huijing, I handmade a small scrapbook for her, with our written blessings
- For Meiling, I courier over gifts for her, together with a card

What I have received in kind? Nothin handmade, nothin significant..except for practical gifts (vouchers)...

Its not I dun appreciate what I got, but somehow I feel that the efforts I've done for others, doesnt necessarily mean that the others will do the same for you. Even from the Sec Sch badminton mates, I dun even have a proper Birthday card...sob sob... Juz the words "Happy Birthday".... From the sisters leh, not even these 2 words lor...juz my voucher only...sob sob sob....

What I am to them? Am i that important friend to them as compared to how I treat them? I feel kinda disappointed such that I decide that I shall stop doing things for them liao..No pt doin that if I dun feel that they appreciate me in the same way...

Maybe as friends, we shouldn't expect from them...But I cant deny that I am very disppointed with my 25th year old birthday....

Yummy Claypot Sri Lanka Crab Bee Hoon for lunch!

Steamy picture of yummylicious Claypot Sri Lanka Crab Bee Hoon. Ate it together with Philo @ China Square Central Don's Pie during lunch one day.. The soup base is very thick and tasty, but the whole dish is kinda expensive - costs $14.80 per claypot.

Now a clearer picture:

Our Makeover @ NbyN

Our first makeover experience as a couple (not including wedding photos la) @ NbyN (Naughty-By-Nature)

The first look is casual look and the 2nd look is Korean-cum-Jap traditional costume (Me in Korean, him in Jap). A pity that many other photos that I like a lot, cannot be given/sold to us...Just because we only want to get the complimentary 2 makeover photos from my Diners Birthday Treat voucher, and we refuse to pay a sum of $3K+ for their privilege card that will entitle us to a lifetime benefits of photoshoots, makeover, lessons such as Photoshop/Photography/Makeup etc...Each month we have to fork out $113 for a total of 24 months (interest free installment). Despite that we like the photos we took very much, since they refuses to sell us, we have to 割爱lor... Well, the overall experience is very shiok, with jumping up shots, lying down shots, leaping over him shots, and also the traditional costume photoshoots.. We can also feel the chemistry between the both of us...Maybe after our wedding photoshoot experience, we know better how to pose, and most importantly, pose with each other...

The lady who was supposed to follow us throughout the session is a very very bimbo, practical, and irritating person. Instead of making us feel more at ease, we felt that she was irritating us more by trying to make small talk with us, ask questions all around and making silly and bimbotic remarks..(fyi - She has physical quality to be a bimbo) After following us throughout the whole session, and trying to sell their expensive package to us, we made it very firm that we dun wan to purchase any album/card, her face changed totally!! At first she was all smiles n joking with us when we first came, then she began to guess our occupation etc la, then at the very end when things dun go her way, no more smiles, no more thank u liao..Very practical hor? We glad that we did not subcumb to their strong sales tactics, and will be very careful when we use complimentary vouchers next time!

Well, at first the lady was using photoshop to edit my face shape to make it look sharper la, whitening my teeth la, and making the whole picture nicer with layerings n background etc..So since we din buy their package, we have to make do with non-photoshop edited ones..And I decided to try my hand on designing one of the photos on my own...Haha...still acceptable as a beginner right? : P

Tianxin Report Book for 1st Quarter

Normally companies have Q1, Q2 annual reports, and now I am going to do my Q1 report assessment of my past 25 years....

1. My Family

They are my most important people in my life, they give birth to me 25 years ago, raised me up with family love, provided me shelter and proper education, giving me a chance to survive well in this society... Without them, I won't be the one I am today...I wan to say thank you to them for loving me all these years and I feel so happy being their daughter...

Me & My brother clicked very well like a pair of close buddies( despite that I detested him when he was born...)He has been a very sweet and nice boy, a filial one to our parents, a loyal one to his friends, a good brother to me...Now he is in OCS serving his NS, and I am very very proud of him! Always have been, and always will....

2. My Husband He becomes the most important MAN in my life, ever since 6 years ago when we first met in year 2001, got together in year 2002, and now have been together for 5 years... Marrying him in year 2006 is my greatest wish fulfilled, greatest achievement in my life. I never know how much I can be loved and doted by a man, after going thru several heartbreaks in past relationships. So I m counting my lucky stars and blessings that I have finally found the One in my life...

I want to say thank you for being in my life, for making my life so wonderful, for willing to take care of me forever...

3. My Friends

i) Primary School Mates:

They are my "oldest" group of friends as our friendship started when we were in Primary 4..Good old 15 years...(Except for Susan cuz we knew each other in Pri 1, so all in all is solid 18 years!!) We have still managed to stay in close contact after so many years, and we believe we will still be...

ii) Secondary School Badminton Mates:
My next "oldest" friends are my secondary school badminton mates whom we have went through endless tough trainings, tough matches, gossiping about our coach, and giggling abt our young rships back then...

Every year we will meet up for each other's birthday, but ever since Meiling moved to Holland, we have one lesser birthday gathering liao..Never mind, we still uphold the friendship that we have built and will always be the good old Badminton mates we have been...

iii) The Butterfly Gang:
You must be thinking how cheesy this name is! Haha..but not to us, cuz we still call each other as "The Butts" for short! haha..In Secondary days, ppl start coming up with Group names, such as "Bubble Gang", and many more that I can't remember liao..Then we came up with this "Butterfly Gang" lor..haha...

iv) NYJC Sisters:
They remain the closest group of friends to me, and we once were 七姐妹 and now becomes only 五姐妹 after 2 dropped out of the group..haha..aiya, its very common for 女生团体one la..like in the entertainment sector mah..haha.. talk as if we are one.. Anyway, time proves that we managed to stay close with one another and we are the ultimate sisters...

They have went through with me for my greatest heartbreak in JC times, and have witnessed me finding my hubby and marrying him after these years...So, they are very important witnesses in my love path...

4. Ex-colleagues from P-Serv:

They are worth mentioning cuz they are not just ex-colleagues to me, they are seniors whom have guided me along, and friends whom I still stay close in touch with! In fact, we are having a dinner gathering soon! It was in my 1st job that I got to know them, not all of them at the same time, some came later part of the year, some whom I was working with ever since the beginning... they have taught me a lot, supported me a lot, and helped me alot....

~I thank them for the wonderful friendship all these years, for always loving me as the Tianxin whom they know..And I have always been the same old Tianxin all these years..always treasuring the ppl in my life...~

These 25 years of growing up have been wonderful with all of these important people in my life, and I hope they can stay with me for many more years to go....

Thank you everybody...

03.07.2007 - My 25th Birthday Celebration

Beautiful bouquet of 20 white roses and a huggy Bear sent to my office!!

It has been a wonderful 25th Birthday Celebration this year...

1st Surprise: A bouquet of 20 white roses and a cuddly bear was sent to me on Monday 2 July afternoon from Far East Flora... Knew something was wrong when the concierge called that there is something for me...But din expect its such a beautiful bouquet, complete with a cute bear!! And its not a small bear somemore... Felt so loved n sweet that I just can't stop smiling...

Watched Transformers on the nite itself..very enjoyable show, complete with a large popcorn combo..

2nd Surprise: He said he has planned a full day event for the actual day... Really duno where he is bringing me to..

First we started with lunch @ Geylang - The famous duck rice which we have not ate for very very long time liao... *Satisfied with a full tummy*
Then we move off to the Real Surprise - Cake Baking Session @ Phoon Huat (Sims Lane)... That's a very unexpected yet meaningful event! I get to bake my own birthday cake! We had plans to attend this baking class but nvr get in action...Well, we finally realise the plans that day! More details of the class at www.phoonhuat.com . It was a full 3 hours session for the whole afternoon, and we had so much fun in the class!! Fortunately our cakes (Swrirl Cheese Cake with Chocolate Truffles) n buns (Traditional Soft Bun) turn out well and din spoil our day..haha..As we can't finish all of them, we distributed them to family and colleagues.

3rd Surprise: Now, dinner time! He will be bringing me to Mt Faber - The Jewel Box. I have always wanted to go there someday somehow, and have hinted him before, but din know it will be realised... However, we did not have dinner inside The Jewel Box (The Alvina) instead we went to the The Faber Hill Bistro whereby there are good reviews for its steak and tiramisu..Despite being an alfresco setting, we were fortunate to have evening breeze cooling us, and having also having nice food to fill our tummy!

The last item for the night is: Cable Car ride (Compliments from the Faber Group). It has been so long since we have rode cable car (individually) and was kinda scared when it was moving out of the station..muhahaha..we very timid hor?

Received alot of birthday wishes (sms/calls/friendster msgs/multiply msgs)..very happy...feel very loved by friends around me..Some were long lost friends who never fail to forget my birthday...Really treasure their well-wishes...

Next year onwards, shall use 1 candle for my birthday cake, so that my age will not be disclosed as my age increases..haha..*crafty smile*
