Our 1st year ROM Anniversary
1st Week of Being A Temp
This is my 1st week of being a Temp Staff at my hubby's workplace, and somemore sitting diagonally across him lor. We were both very excited at the thought of going to and fro work together, and I am happy that I can prepare simple breakfast for him before we go to work together.
We can even go for lunches and dinners together as well! But it won't be very healthy in long term, so this can only be a "transitional period thingy"
Being a Temp Staff, I can have my Kopi break as and when I like. No deadlines, no stressful bosses, no demanding customers. Very relaxed. But also I tend to get bored easily cuz there seems to be no frequent interaction from my end. And I am someone who needs to talk!!! Occasionally I will "bug" my hubby and chit chat with him abit. Most of the time I will do my work while listening to FM 88.3 and surf the web for jobs lor. But nothing much for me to apply these few days, and the agencies seem to have stopped calling me liao. Disheartening.
How I wish my previous job applications can be successful and someone please call me for interview leh!
Nowadays nobody email me or sms me liao. Last time always have so many emails flooding me and having no time to read/ clear. Now inbox don't have anything one. Everyone is busy in their work except for me. A Temp Staff who is always "free" (Of cuz I have jobs to do, just that they are not mind boggling ones lah). Anyway, temp Staff don't need to commit as much as a Perm staff mah. No worries one.
Hope that Fate (God?) will have a meaningful path planned for me...

Career Personality Test: What Type of Person Are You At Work?
Candice, your career personality type is INFP

That means that based on the standard measure of personality traits,
you are highly organized and have strong project management skills. You
prefer to work independently and then pass your ideas or tasks on to
others. When others lose sight of the big picture, you help them to
stay focused to see what's important and weed out unnecessary details.
This skill set will help you succeed in nearly any workplace.
The reason employers and recruiters might be on the lookout for you is that only about 3-4%
of the U.S. population shares the unique characteristics of your
personality type. Research shows that businesses succeed when employers
create a good balance of personality types in the office. And since
only 3-4% of the U.S. population shares your type, that means employers
are looking for you.
I feel so old..inside me...
Yesterday I went to MOS - Ministry of Sound to attend my friend's 25th birthday party...Well, I feel so old stepping into such a funky party place, especially:
1. I am not a party animal

2. I am married = settled down status
I jus feel so weird and outta place being with the grp of girls & boys who are mostly swinging singles (may or may not be available), except for 1 girl who brought her hubby along as well (like me). My hubby wasn't that keen to join me in the first place cuz' he doesnt know my friens well (and he takes very long time to open up to people and not at tis type of place la!). Well, so both of us jus sit there in silence til' he went out for a long walk while I chit chat with my friends lor. Both of us only drank orange juice (yummy) for the nite - @ MOS! hahahaha.... Kill us lah, alcohol lovers!

My fren's parents are real supporting - they were also at the party place! I dun understand why am I feeling so old when in fact I am also the same age as my friend- juz different birthdates mah. Another close budd says I long time become auntie liao...so sad right? Ever since Sec Sch, frens have already commented that I behave like auntie.. *SOB SOB SOB* 怎么办? I am only 25 years old this year & only juz married for going-to-be 1 year (in official)? What happened next when I becum a monther? Should I feel that I am 40 years old liao? hahaha....
Sigh...old liao lor....
PS: They still check my IC lah! haha...

Photos to be up later

Next is Ah Bao's turn in Mar 07. Fast hor. Wanling is barely officially 24 years old for few months and next is Ah Bao turning 25 years old liao... hee...Everyone is now busy with their own life - Work, House, Wedding, Dating... But our friendship shall always last no matter how we move on with life... (' ; ')

New Beginning for 2007
Everyone is penning down their new resolutions for 2007, and also not forgetting to reflect upon the things that had happened to them in 2006. I think I need to set myself a new goal in this new year too. Especially my childhood dream of getting married and having a home of my own has been realised in 2006. Suddenly my life seems so empty as my dreams have been fulfilled!! Furthermore, I have also completed my mainstream studies - fulfilling my commitment to my parents by finishing University studies..No more goals liao... Even the next goal is to have babies, but not so soon mah...at least 1 - 2 years later...So in the meanwhile, I have to search for new goals...
Since I have left my old job at the end of year 2006, I should look forward to a new job in year 2007 which will hopefully interests me more, keeps me motivated to go to work. At least for the start, next week I am going to my husband's company to work as a temp! It is a good short-term plan as I like his group of colleagues cum friends, and I can go to work with him. I can also make my "holidays" more fruitful with some income, and learning new things. Who knows I may land myself a job in his company leh?
Who knows? It depends on how Fate determines my direction in year 2007.Maybe the next goal is to go for tours with Dear, and also with some close friends? That means I need to earn money lor...Back to the problem of getting a job..haha...Why is everything so inter-related with working ah?

Well, at least for these few days of "holiday" that I am giving myself, I have gained a different type of life experience.
~ To sit in an almost empty train, that is going in the opposite-town direction, on a normal working day ~
~ To hear the school children's voices and the school bells ringing ~
~ To see Uncles and Aunties sitting around in hawker centres, doing marketing ~
~ To see people walking around in heartland malls, on a normal working day~
I have missed all these ever since I started working from sun rise till sun set (then followed by moon rise). I was lost in my own life and missed out all these wonderful aspects of life. Thou it may seems less exciting, and of slower pace, it is a luxurious aspect of life that I am enjoying now.
加油啊! 莫恬馨!! You must carve out a new life, a new beginning for yourself!!!
