Off-shoulder Dreamy Gown with pink flowers design and drappy bottom
Today we went for our 1st wedding gown fitting session, and have chosen my Wedding Gown, Evening Gown and Photoshoot Gown successfully. Thru'out the whole session, its enjoyable cuz its once in a lifetime to try so many beautiful gowns, but its also quite tiring as we compare different types of gowns.
Do look thru my photos and let me know which ones do you think I have chosen for each category respectively? Hee..Do let me know your views k?
*Note: My 老公 did try his suit fitting, but he refuses to put his photos online. Probably not handsome enough?Hee...Well, we shall see on the actual day itself bah!*

as for the kwa, the pink one is quite special. the red/gold one is traditional but that's just how a kwa should be. so which you prefer?

Hey gal, you really try a lot of wedding gowns.. Many of them look very beautiful.. I htink you have a tough time to choose them.. hahahaha.. but dont worry!! You look good in most of the gowns..

Jokes aside, I think Wedding gown #1 looks best on you. Your hair can do the French Twist. Think Audrey Hepburn + Grace Kelly. The halter doesn't suit you. Do they have more adventurous choices?
Evening gown #4 is great! You just need the appropriate hairdo. Think Chun Li from Street Fighter. The skirt can have a slant cut in front? Show some legs with black stockings.The dinner is always a nite to remember, so DRAMA is the way to go girl! During costume changes, dun forget to change jewellery too!
What is hubby wearing? Black tux? He can make it more interesting with a silky purple shirt and a bright bowtie. The mandarin collar thingie that Stephen Chow wears is also flattering.
Oh, forget about the kua. Ridiculous.

ReplyDeleteThe one-shoulder dresses on Salma Hayek and Keira Knightley looks sooooooo hot. So's Jennifer Garner's empire cut.
The trick to wearing different cuttings is to change colors for the dinner. Some guests are simply blind and cant tell you changed outfits unless there is a huge color difference. :p

Anyways.... here are my choices for the best looking gowns for ya:
Wedding gown: #1 with the pink flowers off-shoulder design. Gown #5 looks nice on ya too...flattering to your figure. (But i still think #1's your ultimate choice!)
Evenign gown: The #1 Gold dress.... looks good... elegant.
Photoshoot gown: #1, the gown with the flower design... looks good.... youthful & fresh look.
Kua: Traditional one... think the modern pink looks too modern & "artificial" (but seriously , u look better in modern wedding gowns)
This is sexy ... Worth considering ... Really show off ur figure and definately will be the ulitmate LimeLight og the nite

ReplyDeleteThank you for all of your guesses..hee...I can say most of you make the accurate guess for my choices! My choices are:
1) Wedding Gown: 1st Gown (Considered MTM cuz its more than 30% of added materials on the dress)
2) Evening Gown: 1st Gown (Off-the-rack)
3) Photoshoot Gown: 5th gown (This gown is actually transformed from the short dress to a long one)
4) Kua: Modern Pink one (Intially chose the traditional one,but hubby comented the pink one looks special n sweet on me! hee...Anyway kua is only for photoshoot, I am not wearing it on actual day)

Personally I feel the 1st Wedding gown is very special, with a princess look...I only have one chance to be princess and glamorous in my whole life mah. I dun look sezy mah, so have to chuck out the "sexy" dresses lor! Similarly for the Evening Gown, it also has the "Cinderella" look that both my hubby and Tanlin also tink it looks nice on me... For the Photoshoot gown, it is light at the bottom, and also easier for me to move about during my photoshoot. It has nice pink flowery designs which will add on more visual impact in the photos mah...

ReplyDeleteeither the 1st gown or this, coz u look younger here, cheerful looking too. the gown not too emphasis on the bottom so wont look too big n most of all i like the linings!! without any restriction off the shoulder is more free to move ard.

Hi angel! My BS is Sattine Bridal Coulture. The designs of the gowns and photoshoot are nice! The photoshoot dress is for outdoor. I do not intend to wear it as short dress, but to attach the bottom drappy dress to cover my fat legs! haha..I like it long for gowns!
