Wedding - After Thots

Was chatting to my friend who is preparing for her wedding next year, and was looking at wedding packages, hotel packages, wedding photos, studio photos etc etc...I told her, somehow, I feel that others seem to be nicer than what I have. The photos seem to be nicer la, the scenery photos I din manage to take for my outdoor shoots etc etc lah.. I am not complaining anything, just that somehow I wish I had knew what I really like to have for my wedding and have it done, rather than thinking back after it has passed....

Anyway, there's no point of saying all these liao, cuz its a fact that my wedding is over and now I should just concentrate on my marriage life. I am contented that I have a good and supporting husband whom I love dearly.

I should move on and stop envying others liao....

Mars vs Venus - Opposites Attract or Repel?

Watching this show on Ch8 at 9pm daily, really gives me a lot of different feelings that I can relate to, cuz I am a married woman! These are the reasons for the different kinds of feelings...

• Bad Mother-in-law: Who can tahan this bitchy mother-in-law?? how can someone be as cruel as her, to break up her son's marriage?? She really infuriates me.. 婆媳关系has always been a hot topic of discussion, ever since the olden times. But of cuz' with the changing times, this vulnerable relationship has also change its form. I am glad that I do not have such kind of mother-in-law as this is the GREATEST FEAR of all daughter-in-law...haha..True right? A word to all the mother-in-laws in the world: Respect your son and daughter-in-law and give them the privacy they need in their marriage. Stop poking your nose into all of their affairs.
  

• Vixen/3rd party: Being in a marriage, another of my fear is also my man nt being able to resist another woman's (aka vixen's) seduction. This will also lead to another problem of TEMPTATION OF LUST..But how to always maintain our youth, looks, figure and gentleness forever? With time and familiarity, we will tend to 不顾形象 liao mah...So who can blame us? Sigh....

• Divorce: The most terrible thing that can happen to a marriage, and also the poor children...Can't felt teary when seeing the kids refusing to let go of their mother...I can't imagine myself growing up in a broken family...Maybe I took for granted of my parents' marriage that I have never realised the vulnerabilities of a marriage until some problems surfaced in their marriage few yrs ago..things seem to be over now, so I am very relieved...I would definitely not want my own marriage to end up in anger, tears then ultimately divorce...never...

• Friends: Friends...They are very important to you - They can either protect u or they can harm you. So keep your eyes open big big when u choose a friend for life. And please, be a considerate friend too, dun keep "bragging" or "showing off" how good your hubby/bf is to u when ur frens are healing a broken heart/marriage...I am only referring to the character in the show la. Friends, they are also a source of support when things go wrong...Cherish the right friends..the true old ones..
  

Its clean once again...

We'd this major problem of pigeons settling on our air con ledge and shitting all around, ever since we moved into our house..Its not only gotten stinky over time, its also unhygienic lor...As we see the pigeons droppings piling day by day, week by week, we've decided to move into ACTION! I wrote an email complaining to the Town Council, requesting them to do something about it, and I was impressed with their efficient response to my request! A call came the following day, and the Sunday itself they will get someone to come and wash away the droppings and feathers with their high-pressure water jet spray.

And guess what we found out when the person opened the window from our bedroom? We found a pigeon nest with 2 eggs on it!! What I've been suspecting has come true, cuz I kept noticing there is this "lovely-dovey" couple pigeons kept kissing la, going in and out of our air-con...As we din really open the window before that, we din notice it...



Well, no choice..wat has to be done has to be done...the shit, the feathers and the eggs are all being washed away....(*For those bird lovers, pls dun blame us for being "cruel" ok? They are causing a nuisance to our life, and also creating a dirty environment for us to live in...)


Finally....Its now Clean!! We guess this will not be for long, despite us putting birds repellent on the air con ledge, cuz we realise the pigeons actually stand on the metal rack to shit instead!!! Ridiculous Pigeons!!! We hate your presence!! Pls GO AWAY!!! FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!

My Hubby's 28th Birthday Celebrations...

Have planned a series of Birthday surprises for Dear Dear this year...starting from...

Thu, 03.05.07:All these while he kept lamenting that I didn't do anything for his birthday while I keep doing for my frens..jealous la..haha...but little does he know that I've been doing it secretly in my office, during my free time...Ta-dah!! I present to him my surprise handmade gift today - A compliment he received from his customer, and pictures of him receiving award in his company..What I wan to tell him thru' tis gift is - I am proud of u, Dear! You are my Honourable One! He was very surprised on how did I get hold of the compliment when he dun even have it! haha...I have connections in his office mah...of cuz' can get it la! Hiak hiak...

Fri, 04.05.07: Today I will reveal to him the BIGGEST surprise that I have ever planned before! Getting his group of close colleagues, total of 11 pax, to gather around and give him a surprise dinner!Really appreciate that all of them "give face" to my idea and all showed up!! He was very impressed and surprised that I managed to get so many ppl to gather for his birthday dinner! I m so happy & proud that my surprise item has finally realised!! A small disappointment is that Swensens dun allow us to eat the cake that we bought from Four Leaves...Chey! Say they are halal restaurant etc etc..din they see we have malay friends meh..u tink we'll buy non-halal food to feed them meh? Think they only allow us to buy their own restaurant's cake only lah..talk so much rubbish..in the end, we juz sing a short phrase of Happy Birthday, blow the candles and make a small wish lor..Then lastly, is MAHJONG time! One of Dear's favourite activity!So let him be lor, since is his birthday dinner...

Sat, 05.05.07: Have planned the activities for today and tomorrow, all by myself! I wan to let him feel the "priviledge" of being the Birthday Boy, so decided to let him sit back and enjoy the celebrations for these 3 days! Lunch prepared by me (Simple fried maggie mee only la..haha), followed by Spiderman 3, dinner @ The Secret Garden (www.mysg.com.sg) and lastly, drinks @ New Asia Bar (71st floor of Swissotel Stamford).

- Spiderman3 @ The Cathay: Overall, movie was ok. Since its a movie buster, we have to watch it. I think that the baddies showed up too many times liao...abit too much lor..Someone sittin behind almost spoil our mood cuz kept knocking our chair when he moved about.

- My Secret Garden: Dinner was ok. Atmosphere is romantic, food was ok, service staff was polite, helped us took nice pictures there. However the music got abit loud at the end. We even saw the crew presenting a surprise cake for another table-very romantic with the dim lights and jazz music behind..hmm....

- New Asia Bar @ Swissotel Stamford: The high floor view is breathtaking!!! Oh my god...Can't resist taking more pictures of the magnificient night view of Singapore...very beauitful... The place is kinda noisy..well, what can I expect, its a pub lor...Later then realise there is a quieter drinking place called The City Space @ 70th floor! Shucks! Would prefer that x 100 times lor! Well, one thing lucky is, I was wearing pink dress and white jacket that night, and it coincides with their "Think Pink Dream White" theme for the Every 1st Saturday of each month, so I get 2 drinks for the cover charge of $25! Haha...Aren't we lucky?

Sun, 06.05.07: Dear's Birthday finally arrived! Thot it will be smooth-sailing, except that celebrations are slowly reduced day by day, and both of us have driving lessons today. But sigh...both of us have diarrhoea after waking up, then still have to tahan diarrhoea attacks during drivin..Initially I've planned the last item for today - Dinner @ Botak Jones (AMK Ave 5). we still proceed but every minute of eating seems torturous cuz the attack seems to be coming more and more frequently...Somemore the kopitiam is so humid, and Dear is perspiring profusely...Sigh.. in the end we din really enjoy the dinner...He even say that his birthday not happy...driving not successful, stomach not well, kept feeling hot and sticky...sigh...luckily we'd good celebrations for the past 2 days...

Anyway, his birthday gift has not arrived yet..I am co-sharing a new game set that he has ordered - Nintendo Wii! Maybe I would be addicted to it too? Heard its an interactive game set...Shall update next time!

咳...我好希望这个错误完全没发生过...但已不能改变事实了...现在我只能将功赎罪, 接受我的惩罚, 不能再超知过急...
