Indeed a strong woman

My grandmother is indeed a strong woman. Recently she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and she is over 80 years old now. At this age of hers, she is still quite light-hearted about it and kept saying she is ok. Probably its because she didn't know its cancer, and thought its something inside her digestive system.

She went through a surgery today, removing the cancer growth inside her body. Surprisingly she need not be admitted to ICU after her surgery, and surprisingly, she was awake after her surgery. She even told my brother that she is hungry cuz she had to go without food before her surgery...

I really find her a strong woman. The last time she sprained her wrist, within a few days, she was carrying in and out the clothes pole.. She also kept tellin us that she was ok. My goodness...

Now, I hope her strength and courage will let her defeat the illness and be strong and healthy.. I hope she would not need to suffer anymore pain during this period...
