Our Red Tanker & it's Buys

Today we got our Red Honda FIT a new ang-moh name - Red Tanker. Cool rite? haha...

More buys to come along, I believe.. And of cuz the additions for the car (spoiler, bodykit etc).. Very very sure of that too...

Coincidences

At another entry, I mentioned about us meeting the online seller, who collated the orders for the Honda FIT car model. Well, there are many COINCIDENCES that happened, that I feel that they are worth mentioning...

Coincidence 1:
- The online seller is actually my JC school mate (Adrian)! I only realised it when he recognized me when we met him to collect the car model (as usual, ppl who knew me previously, can always recognize me at one glance while I always can't recognize them! Sigh..)

Coincidence 2:
- Both bought the same color - Red FIT, and with skyroof. So both the Red skyroof FIT met each other today.. haha..

Coincidence 3:
- Both of them bought the Honda FIT at the same Parallel Importer Company - Car Lingual. He was lucky to be served by the manager cuz we also find the manager quite good. We do recommend this PI company to our fellow friends as we find their service good and they gave us quite good packages.

Coincidence 4:
- Previously before we knew that our car was already here, we made a trip down to the PI company to enquire the status. After knowing our car has arrived, we saw 2 Red Honda FITs with skyroof at the PI company. We were confused which is the right one, till Dear took a closer look at one of the FITs and realised its not ours, given the requirements for the car specification are different. Do you know who does that Red Honda FIT belong to?? Yes!! You've guessed it correctly! It's Adrian's car!!! haha... How do we know it leh? Cuz Adrian juz collected his car today while we only collected it 3 days ago, and there were only 2 Red Honda FITs with skyroof at the same PI company!! Oh my god... I can't believe it...

Coincidence 5:
- Not exactly a coincidence, but much related to the 4th coincidence above. By right, Adrian's car was supposed to be registered before us. But due to some hiccup of the systems, our car got registered before his. SO... If our car had been registered after his, we would have gotten his carplate no. which is something we do nt wan ( Its a 3-digits carplate, and it has 2 x digit "4" in his carplate no.) Hmm... Yes, we abit pa-tang.. We wanted to avoid the digit "4" badly.. and luckily we dun have the digit "4" in our current carplate no. and to us, it sounds quite nice as it starts with the digit "8"... Heng ah...  Feelin' lucky here.. Have to go back temple to return prayers liao ...

First Car Ride to Keppel Bay Island

Chanced upon this nice place called Prive Restaurant at Keppel Bay on the Internet one day and love the waterfront dining scene, and decided one day, we shall go there..

So our very first place to visit on our car ride is naturally Keppel Bay on a Friday night. The place is private yet exclusive. I bet the residential prices around that place must be super-duper high! A pity we reach the place around 8-tish, so we missed the evening settings. Shall visit another time around 6-tish to capture more beautiful pictures!

In the end we didn't try the Prive Restaurant, as there is a more economical alternative at 2nd level - TCC! haha.. We find Prive Restaurant abit ATAS lah.. :P Dear played his PSP while I read my book, over drinks and tiny bites.. We even saw a friend when we were leaving TCC (Person's name not able to be revealed here..hee...) So qiao!

After we left Keppel Bay, we head towards Dempsey Hill, but not for another rounds of drinks. We went there to meet with a person who collated the bulk orders for the FIT model car that Dear has ordered.. Details of the story to be explained in a separate entry. Meanwhile, enjoy the pictures!

We shall look forward for more places-visiting in our Red Tanker! (New Ang-moh name for our FIT)

小红 finally comes home!

Yesterday was our collection-of-car day.. Dear was feelin unwell and was on 2 days MC.. Was afraid he wun be well enough to collect our car yesterday... Luckily with ample rest and medication, he felt better and I could say his mood became HYPER when he saw the car! haha... Guess, the excitement "cures" him better than the medication.. haha..

Anyway, he went through a very very thorough check of the car before signing the papers. Something that I really have to learn from him. I am the bo-chap type.hee.. The first moment we sat in our car and drove out.. Woo... The feelin is very good... But the sales guy was with us la (we went for the first pump of petrol) , so we didn't really express it out.  Only when we were alone, and opened up our BIG skyroof, we were really excited!!! The view on top is really nice! Will try to take some pics when we have the opportunity.

Our first task after collection of car is to go for dinner and grocery shopping.. With the car, we no longer need to perform acrobats on the bike, by juggling 2 big bags on the left, and 3 big bags on the right. Sometimes we also carry few whole packs of toilet paper or tissue paper also have lor! Ha! U can imagine how silly and tiring it is to do that! So, we are finally relieved of that...

Then we drove to my in-laws' place to show them the car and even drove them around the neighbourhood to have a feel of the new car. They love it, we can say.. Even though it looks small from the exterior, it is definitely spacious from the inside. Try it and you'll know it! hee...

Prior to gettin our car, Dear already bought some car accessories to decorate the car, and even bought this remote model car to play (also new Honda FIT model) -

He has also ordered 2 more model cars from online, to display in his BIG car..haha..

Geez... Feel good to cruise around in our 小红

小红 is coming home tomorrow!

Finally got our 小红's BC (Birth-Cert) no. today.. Hee.. which is also the car plate no. lah.. Luckily no unlucky or not nice number.. Coincidentally its also the same 4 digits of my IC no. hee... This shows that I am very fated with 小红 la.. buying 4D soon...

Can't wait to drive her around for our first time!
