Purchases for the House - Part 2

Today we took a day off to settle the bank loan with RHB, and thinking of the various loan we have to pay off every month puts us off. Money Money Money.. We need more MONEY $$$ !!!

Then we went to Leaping Lizard to see see wedding shoes, but finds that its not really worth the price I have to pay, so decided to go other places to see see look look before I buy.

In the noon, the real challenge is awaiting for us as we embark on our journey to purchase the Hood, Hob, Stove, Sinks, Taps, Bathtub, Storage Heater, Rainshower set starting from Poh Joo @ Jalan Besar, then other similar shops along Jalan Besar, then lastly to MacPherson. Finally we go back to Poh Joo to buy the following items..Another few hundred bucks has flew out of our pocket (Only considering the deposit oh!)

Items Bought:
1) Cuzino hob, hood and Oven @ good bargain prices!!

2) Joven 35litres Storage Heater
3) Wash Basin for Master Bathroom

Items to be bought:
1) Bathtub (Torn between a few brands due to the credibility of the quality)
2) Taps, Rainshower set (Dear can't decide which one he likes best!)
3) Kitchen Basin and Tap (Considering the Franke Promotion Set)

The whole afternoon is so damn HOT AND OVERBEARING and causing us in a frustrated mood!! We are so so so damn tired travelling around to buy these items...But glad we have gotten a good buy for the Kitchen appliances!! Its really a good bargain!!

Tomorrow is our official 动土Day, whereby we choose an auspicious date and time to start reno work, to get a good start for our new life and new home!! We will not be there when the reno kickstart tomorrow..Will be "supervised" by mother-in-law instead. The electricity and water will also be activated tomorrow in the afternoon as well, supervised by "father-in-law". Haha..I have a pair of helpful in-laws!! Glad we live nearby such that travelling for them will be easier. Hee...Can take care of each other better.
