In my previous 2 jobs, I had great bunch of fun lunch kakis whereby I felt lunch time was so precious yet short, and was resistant in going back to work (cuz work sucks!)
Sigh... now leh? Work isn't that bad, lunch time plenty of flexibility, yet no lunch kaki anymore.. At first still got Philo la, my husband la, but now with Philo being transferred to London office, and hubby gettin busier at work, I no longer have the luxury of laughing and chatting with lunch kakis liao..
Initially wasn't that used to lunching alone, now I seem to have gotten used to it liao.. Most of the time I ta-bao back and eat alone, read newspapers, surf net. Occasionally when I am out for errands, I will just eat alone lor, and walk back alone lor..Don't really feel that "lonely" anymore...
So, cherish those lunch kakis of yours, if you have.
