Dear joined the e-life @ Suntec Gaming Challenge and is set to show his gaming skills on PS3 game - Winning Eleven 2008 today. Initially he was pretty anxious and worried that his skills are not as good as the other competitors. But what's there to worry? I told him. Its all for the fun of it! Anyway registration is free.. hee...Before he starts the challenge at 2 p.m., we got chance to play the Nintendo Wii on a very fun & cute game called 'Rayman Raving Rabbids 2'.. Its so fun and arms-toning that we are even bent on getting a Nintendo Wii set for ourselves.. Think we gota start saving soon...
As time approaches 2 p.m., Dear got really nervous.. and both of his palms got sweaty... I wasn't much affected till he started his game, then I kena palms and feet getting sweaty cuz I was soooooooooo nervous and excited!! Hahaha... I am the cheerleader for him.. Giving himself a nickname called 'Red Tanker', named after our car, we also dressed in red to emphasize our theme! wahaha... Even the emcee called us 'the couple in red'
When he scored a goal, I cheered and clapped loudly (a bit paisheh I know..but I can't stand the excitement!! haha...) When he missed a goal, I can't help saying aiyah! This is the very first time I actually sat down and concentrate watching him play Winning Eleven. In the past, I never felt the need or the excitement watching him play games... Unfortunately, he lost the battle after competing with 3 other players, and only the top scorer got to enter the next stage. Nevertheless, as I told him earlier, it was all for the FUN of it.. And we enjoyed very much! We were glad that one of his colleagues even came down to support him, in RED tee & bag! Really grateful for that! HA!
After this challenge, he realised that his usual gaming kakis are not li-hai enough so he kept thinking he is very li-hai (*vomit*) Now, after he has left his comfort zone and explore the outside world, then he realised 一山还有一山高, 强中自有强中手! So he has to buck up and improve on his gaming skills! haha...
* Side-note: We bought something for our car today......
Is it cute? Actually we only bought the green cushion Luigi cap, cuz there's no new stock for the red cushion Mario cap. Will get it when the stock arrives.. hee...
haha.. looks fun! I'm also in a PS3 frenzy mode nowadays. But i'm chiong-ing battle game Dynasty warrior instead. I wanna get Wii too!! The games are more cutesy for us ladies, haha.
ReplyDeleteWat's this game 'Rayman Raving Rabbids 2' all about huh? We've got the Wii couple of months ago and we're hooked on Super Mario Galaxy..challenging each other hehe..Time to look around for other games...
ReplyDeleteOh this Rayman Raving Rabbids game is real fun and easy too.. for one eg, u juz shake the control upwards n downwards fast, as if u r shakin the bottle of soft drink that the character is holding, then it will burp...... the more u shake, u more gas it contains, the longest the burp can go... real fun..

U can buy the fitness pack too! We intend to buy that for exercise purpose next time..hee
