After waiting for more than a year (?), we finally got to see our dear friend Teris in Singapore again! This time she is Mummy Teris.. hee.. cuz' she is 6 and 1/2 months pregnant with her little one. *Gender has been guessed correctly liao.. but better keep discrete here just in case there are some other friends who havn't know it yet! Ha!*
She is big! I mean her tummy is big. But she is still attractive and slim la. Happy for her & Jeroen. We got her a special gift - a Diaper Cake! I saw this on a Motherhood magazine and went to the website to explore. Its called Stubborn Snails (http://www.stubbornsnails.com/diapercake_1.htm). Very interesting and unique concept of a baby gift!
As we did not know the gender of the baby yet, we decided to customise the diaper cake and choose neutral colors - So Orange & White it is (Holland's flag color), and also added a cute Moo-moo toy on the diaper cake. We ordered a Mini Munchkin where the contents inside the diaper cake are:
1. One 100% cotton baby receiving blanket
2. One baby romper
3. One pair of baby shoes / booties
4. One baby bib
5. One toy
6. 20 disposable diapers.
Mummy Teris also didn't know what is this gift and really thought its a cake!!! Then we explained its also called a cake, but this cake cannot be eaten... hahah... Just full of diapers inside the cake. Hope she likes it!
We'd a lot of fun & laughter listening to her pregnancy experiences, and really miss her presence and her voice. Very soon she will embark on a new stage with her newborn child. Hope to see more updates from her when she got the time n energy to do so!
