OSCAR test result is out!

The test result for my OSCAR test was out yesterday. They didn't call me for the whole morning that I got a little worried, so I called the clinic to ask them return my call and let me have the results soon...

After lunch the clinic nurse returned my call promptly and gave me the results. I am in the normal range (safe zone) for the nuchal scan. The ratio of risk level is 1:1256, and the cut-off level is 1:350. I should be relieved (or partly relieved only) cuz I have heard other mothers' experiences are such that their risk level is much lower. So I was hoping for a result like 1:5000 or 1:10000 so that I can feel more assured... Sigh.. that's the problem of a worrying newbie mummy.

I just hope baby will be healthy, normal. Boy or girl also does'nt matter (much) liao...

The blood tests also came back ok. That's the only part I am really assured with. At least my baby will not have such complications of hereditary blood diseases, if not I sure feel very guilty towards him/her.
