2 Bonded as 1 on 20th Jan 2006

It's 1 of the most important part of my life - Our solemnization, a start to our new life as MR and MRS Yam, a legally recognised status, and also a closer bondage emotionally & spiritually...
The ceremony is concise and sweet, thou the preparation & waiting time was long but enduring... When we exchanged our vows & looking seriously at each other eyes, we knew we will be there for each other...forever...
A commitment of marriage...A commitment forever....
Close family members & friends were there to witness our union..thou a pity we cant invite everybody...We were touched by their true blessings n love for us...
May the photos will show our love, and our appreciation for the wonderful blessings received (not forgetting the gifts and smses too! We love them!)

Dawn 1 year old liao!!

Its our dear Dawn's (Jq's niece) 1 year old birthday today and we celebrated with her family @ their home, eating steamboat and cutting cake tt we have baked for her (partly thou) and playing with her with her numerous toys!!

She is so adorable...and we love her so much...

5 more days to become "MRS YAM" or "MDM MOK"

How time flies...

Counting back to  4 years back when I first got to know him thru a mutual fren, and getting hitched with each other...We din know we were the right ones for each other, but Thank God I think I have found my soul mate, and a good family man to take care of me for the rest of my life..And of cuz, the man I so dearly...

Counting back to 6 months ago when he went down on his knees and proposed to me, asking me to be his "Mrs Yam"....

Now, counting down to 5 more days before I will be legally announced as his rightful "Mrs Yam" liao...

After looking back to good old days when we spent precious time knowing each other n family members well, when we spent time studying in NUS and encouraging each other during exams, to looking forward to days whereby we will call each other 老公老婆, having our own house that we will call our "home", helping each other in our household chores, busy with our babies and so on and so forth....

I can't guarantee that our future life together will be smooth and happy always, thou I pray hard that I will be blessed with a happy marriage. I am still struggling to be a good wife to him...to learn how to iron his clothes nicely, to be a good and patient daughter-in-law, to be more patient and tolerant towards him, and many many more... It's not easy to be in another role, to proceed to another stage of my life...

I hope he can give me the utmost support, I hope everyone will give us the blessings to fulfill the above mentioned...

5 more days to go to become "Mrs Yam" or affectionately called by my "beloved frens and colleagues" - "Mdm Mok"... Haha...

Insomnia...Terrible feeling : (

I m suffering insomnia on a weekday, whereby I still need the energy to
work the next day but I just cant sleep!!! It is so frustrating to be
eye wide open, mind running a lot of thots, walking around like a
zombie...



Dear cant do anythin much to pacify me to sleep cuz he is also very tired...I just cant sleep...



I m going thru a decision making process and it is damn stressful and
tired to make tt decision. It is an important stage of my life from my
decision, and I m lost in my life tracks now...I wish I can b
enlightened and released from this terrible process soon...without
regrets...I dun wan to look back and fill with regrets...



Life is short...I wan to know wat I wan in life..I need to search for
my goal..other than I know I wan to be married to my man, to have a
home of our own, to have kids to call us Mum and Dad, I wan to search
for my value in life...How do I contribute and how do I gain. Happy or
not? Satisfied or not?



i seem to be talkin to myself...talkin glibberish...M i going crazy?
Maybe? I just need to vent out somewhere, somehow...Cuz nobody is
around to hear me...Nobody is around to tok to me at 5am in the morning!



WTF is my life...I seem to be going thru a crisis..at 23?
haha...turning 24 in July... I cant waste my precious time n youth
anymore..I need to make full use of my assets and capabilities s much s
I can...

2006..A Different Year, A Different Beginning...

On 31st Dec 2005, the last day of 2005, 4 of us - JQ, me, Marcus and
Rachel spent the evening having dinner @ Changing Appetites (Marina
Square). Wow! Wat a long queue we saw! But luckily our group of 4 can
manage to get a table soon..and leaving the rest of the queue looking
at us with ENVY..hiak hiak...The starters of Mornay Mussels is real
nice n tasty..I always like Mussels with melted cheese...Then we also
had calamari served in a dim-sum container. Fusion..the theme of this
restaurant..



I shared a main dish of sirloin steak with melted cheese (again) with
Dear and it tastes nice! Unfortunately Marcus got a wrong order
delivered cuz he wanted chicken but got beef instead..Sadly to sad, he
cant take beef one lor..They change a new one after eating mid-way. I
can see from his face, he feel sick..



Later the 4 of us went to Marquee @ China Square to watch ESPN in
live...Gladly to say, it isnt tt bad as both of the girls will chit
chat away n enjoy some of the exciting kicks and goals along the
way....At least we have some place to spend our last few hours of 2005,
and not squeezing and jolting with people in 人山人海place like Esplanade,
Orchard lah...



Upon striking 12 midnight whereby the fireworks boomed and everyone
cheered, Me n Dear only wish each other Happy New Year and exchanged a
kiss, but never tok about our New Year resolutions or wat..Never mind,
hope he understands wat I m thinkin about...

Xmas Gathering with new friends...

We had quite some fun chit-chatting and joking around, thou Dear was
"bugged" by Wanling for endless questioning for her project..haha...dun
worry, I m juz jokin..He is most glad to help u out as he has obtained
quite some bit of experience this 1 year + working @ NTUC Income.



However some important person is missing from our group, from our
laughter and jokes...and that is OML..Its not OH MY LORD k, its ONG
MEILING lah..haha...
We just miss her crap jokes and loud laughter...of cuz we also miss
Jeroen this time round after getting to know him more and feel closer
to him..Hope they will be back to Singapore soon, and we shall have
such sessions again...



OML seems to be MIA-ing these few days, so email, no MSN, nothin from
her...R u ok? Everythin alright? Drop us an email when u r free..cuz we
often update our blog, but u dun even start one. haha...

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2005!
