On last weekend, we went back to HL to buy some of the important purchases as Dear's UOB card has arrived!! Since we are buying costly stuffs, it is the chance to earn more points on our card and can redeem mileage for our trip next year! Dear also got me a Supplemantary card, but hor, he ask me not to use leh (Got this kind of husband one meh?
) haha..no lah, I dun blame him lah. We are indeed tight on budget. Well, back to track, our purchases from HL included:1) Mitsubishi Electric Tiara Series MR-F62R Refrigerator ($1000)
2) Samsung B1245A Silver Nano Front Loader Washing Machine ($690) - Comes with $100 voucher
Most importantly this washing machine has HA ND-WASH function!! Yeh!! Gone are my washin days!! (At least for most of the clothes lah)
3) A Standing Fan (We need that when we unpack and clean up!!)
Next stop we went back to The Furniture Club to confirm our purchases and delivery date for our sofa, TV console, dining table & chairs, and coffee table. The initial sales person who attended to us is no longer there, instead we were attended by their SALES DIRECTOR! (who look beng type). He is really very sales-oriented and keep pushin us to buy Bed & Bed Frame since he knows we need yet havnt buy. Thus we took so long there as we consider his offer. In the end, we took up his offer of the Bed Mattress+ Bed Frame + a C-shaped table for $1900. Its abit expensive, but we really like the mattress, and Dear also like the Fabric-covered Bed Frame. The C-shaped table is considered FOC for this purchase lor. We also change our dining table cuz there are new stock, and also made some other changes. All except the Bed & Bed Frame will be delivered in about 2 weeks' time, together with the above furniture and the 43" Pioneer Pure Vision Plasma TV
Very soon, we will be busy cleaning up our new house ...and very soon..we will move into our very own place, a place where we call our HOME
