Some (non-important ) updates about me

Well well...it has been quite a while since I last updated my blog (guess it isn't that long lah.. just that its not frequent..hahah.. maybe readers of my blog dun even care? I duno too... )

Where should I start... hmm....

Driving? Ok, I am taking my driving test on 28 Nov 07 (Wed) afternoon.. Wish me luck please.. I really badly hope I can pass it first time... I have spent really alot of money on my driving lessons for this whole period... Don't worry, I am not a road hazard.. Occasionally I have small errors...hee... not life-threatening kinds...

On the past Monday both me n hubby went for lasik pre-assessment eye test at Parkway Eye Centre (@ Gleneagles Medical Centre). Dear went online to research and found out that this doctor - Dr Lee Hung Ming is very popular for lasik surgery, and set up his own eye clinic after he left TTSH... So we changed our appt from TTSH to Parkway Eye Centre.. The pre-assessment eye test is so expensive... Both of our eyes' condition are very conducive to do the standard Intralase surgery, except my only problem is my pupils are slightly larger than normal, so may tend to have the night glare after the surgery. Whereas for Dear, he has a slightly thinner cornea..not much of any problem also cuz our myopia level is considered low... Dear will have his lasik surgery in Dec. hope everything goes well... Another big hole going to be burnt in our pocket liao I will only set my appointment after my driving test...

Another update of my life is about work... I have a new lunch kaki liao!!! And guess wat? She's my boss's PA lor! Pls dun get me wrong, thinking that I am tryin to get into her good books, so that indirectly she can put in good words in front of boss...It just happened that she is always lonely during lunch as her lunchtime is unpredictable with her boss's constant demands..then she also jio another lunch-loner (Me) out for lunch companionship... In the end, we hit it off quite well! Really amazing! But think my own colleagues may have the wrong idea of us having lunch together cuz from their shocked & stunned facial expressions when they saw us lunchin together, u know liao.. my female colleague even asked me if we met by coincidence or we purposely meet to buy lunch back! Duh~! Ur business isit? We clean conscience one lor! Anyway, no good news on my conversion yet... initially very worried cuz it indirectly/directly will affect our finances, then our family planning.. sigh.. all screwed up whether I got convert or not.. .anyway... now I learn to adopt the mentality that "If its meant to be mine, it will be mine... If its not meant to be mine, no matter how I force, it will never be mine..." So, my Dear hubby... let's take it step by step mah...(sigh)

Me just joined a fitness club, aiming to lose weight and tone up... Joined the Fitness Werks - a women's gym club.. Very small place but personalized... Felt at ease when exercising there, cuz no I feel very secure with no men around... I just jump and sweat it out.. I no need to care I 走光 etc... They even got me a food journal which I need to write down what I ate for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and snack everyday... Have been writing.. but somehow can't manage to control well my diet yet.. still eating sushi lah, buffet lah (not frequent lah)... And till now, I only went 2 times.. not motivated enuf... Kam-ba-teh!!!

Lastly, I finally finished my "Our Honeymoon" photo-journal album (partly decorated with scrapbooking materials)..Quite satisfied with my work... hee... except I spent a little bit more on the scrapbooking materials and also the album pages are kinda pop' up with the usage of the 3D materials. Yesterday went to Made with Love in Plaza Singapura, and I bought the materials FOC lor! Cuz' I used my Capitaland vouchers mah..so shiok!! haha...

Latest update: While I was finishing my blog entry, a big cockroach flew in to my study room and was right in front of me!!! I screamed for Dear to come and rescue me.. Him, the Bygon-Cockroach-Eliminator had a big fight with the cockroach and finally eliminated it! haha... Bravo!!
