Tis is my first time experiencing my hubbie being away for Reservist. Never in my previous BGRs do I ever had to experience my ex(s) to be enlisted. So I always considered myself "lucky" that I do not have to go thru those "separated" days/weeks/months.
Tis year, at tis point of time, is hubbie's first time having to go for reservist and also my first time having to experience how it feels for hubbie to be away from me - uncontactable for the whole day. I should still say I am "lucky" that he doesn't need to go for field camp, and can book out from camp, if not I will definitely miss him lots lots lots more...
Am still adjusting to his Reservist Days - today being Day 2 only.. hmmm... I have to learn to be more independent w/o him readily available around. But can't deny that I miss him a lot...
Tmr is Day 3.. wonder what time he can book out or whether he can book out or not..
he can put pregnant wife as a reason to not have to stay in if he has to, right?
ReplyDeleteAlvin's also out for reservist since 4 May for 3 weeks but he can book out everyday this time :) So will not feel the difference until next week when he needs to stay in a night or 2.

ReplyDeleteYa next week he also have to go for exercise and may not be able to book out for few days..din know they are on reservist in same month. Think Ziqing also kena this month leh. So qiao!
At least u r stayin with ur family, u wun feel that lonely at home mah..hee.. But I tink I will survive! : P
My hubs will be away too! 1mth in Thailand, & another mth in Oz!
