My first time to Jacky Cheung's (歌神) concert, after being highly persuaded by my sisters - mainly Tanlin and Suling. The backdrop and graphics are definitely more high class than the Fish Leung's concert which I went recently. However, as I pale in my Cantonese, there were several songs I do not understand, and there were some songs that I am not familiar or never heard before. So, a pity, I didn't enjoy as much as I thought/ I hope I would be. Furthermore he never sang the song that I have been waiting for - 李香籣..so abit disappointed. Nevertheless his powerful vocals and quality of songs still win me over... especially seeing a 46 year old person dancing and jumping like nobody business...
At the end of his performance, he sang a song, blessing everyone out there - 祝福
it was tooooo shooooort!! even though it was more than 3 hours, my girlfriends and i didn't want it to end. he's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI believe he has many more songs he din sing lor.. I also wanted to hear him sing other ppl's songs as well... stimes got different feel one.. :P
